Our name is inspired by the parable of the seeds found in Mark chapter 4, verses 3-20. The parable describes what happens to a seed when it is placed in four different types of soil conditions; on the worn path, on rocky ground, amongst thorns, and onto good soil. We endeavor to be an organization that plants and nurtures seeds of hope and love that will yield thirty, sixty or even a hundredfold in the lives of those we support.
